Understanding "all things"

When you are in a love relationship with God- He uses all the trials, tribulations and circumstances of your life to conform you to the image of His Son.
What does that mean? Conform in Romans 8:29 comes from the Greek word "summorphos" which means- "by sharing the same inner essence-identity (form); showing similar behavior from having the same essential nature".
In other words, Who lives in you- the One Who you now share the same inner essential nature- begins to permeate through you. He has changed your inner nature (Romans 6, Galatians 2:20) to the same as His and now He begins to manifest (reveal and express) Himself through you. But- it's as you surrender to Him and allow Him to do so- we do that because we begin to understand His good is so much greater than ours. His purpose is that we began to live out of this love relationship that He created for us through His death, burial and resurrection.
What do I "look" like when I am conformed to His image and He begins to live through me?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control- Galatians 5:22-23
And we have known that to those loving God all things (the good, the bad and the ugly) do work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose; because whom He did foreknow, He also did fore-appoint, conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be first-born among many brethren;- Romans 8:28-29 Young's Literal Translation
