Gregg
is making slow progress but recovering a bit of function in his left
leg. He can now move it an inch or so intentionally. This seems like a
small thing but shows promise that with intensive rehab he can regain some use of that limb.
Today physical therapy brought a motorized lift that allowed Gregg to
stand fully upright in a harness. That was exhausting but a great
relief to Gregg to be out of bed for a few minutes!
Finally, Gregg has regained his ability to swallow and is now on a regular diet!!! This means he is having all the scalding hot coffee and RC cola that he talked about for weeks while he waited for this ability to return.
For the time being please pray that Gregg will successfully transfer to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta next week.
