Sing!

Psalm 96:1 Sing to The Lord a new song.

My beloved one- you have chosen to sing to The Lord a new song. Open up your heart and sing to Him your song of sorrow and joy.

Know this- He is with you. He takes great delight in you and He rejoices over YOU with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).

Baby girl blankets : )

Blankets I made for my friend Jill's daughter Bristol and her little girl, Joanie, soon to be born.  I also made Bristol (she's 2) a blanket for her doll.

Cold Sores

For four weeks I had continuous cold sores.  I had not had any cold sores since spring of last year.  I think it was because I quit drinking soda's.

But the cold, wind and sun chapped my lips while out running or working the yard...so...I spend 4 weeks with 4 cold sores.  UG....

I try to keep notes on when they came and why.  I can't help it.  It's just my personality.

NOTES:
January 10, 2016 Switched from Estroblend to Estrovan.  Thought it was the same thing so I got it cheaper on Amazon.  I didn’t know the Estrovan did not have vitamins in it like the Estroblend.

Cold sore started on January 16th.  I had a total of 4 cold sores.

January 16-27th from cold, wind and chapped lips.  Left side of mouth.

January 25-Feb 2nd from rubbing alcohol.  Right side of mouth on cheek.

February 8-17th from sunburn on the 7th.  Two cold sores on on top lip right side and bottom lip right side (bigger of the two.)  Got Valtrex from Steve on the 8th.  40 pills = $55.

February 8, 2016 Switched back to Estroblend.  I decided to go back to Estroblend because it has vitamins in it also.  Started back on February 8th.  Did this lack of vitamins contribute to the cold sores?

Grace Girls Fellowship

Thursday February 18th we had a Grace Girls Fellowship.

These are my notes on living a resurrected life/Sunday life in a Friday world.

It's Friday but Sunday's coming!

"Unchained" Hosanna Poetry

A delightful Saturday!

Who knew Sebastian could handle a 10.1 mile run?  Not me!  He will be 9 next month and I didn't think he had it in him.  I had no idea we were going out for a long run but it ended that way.  Cloudy and 50 degrees is perfect running weather.

Shew....time to rest!
I love this runner dog!
And of course, Macey needed some love.
After a hot shower and cup of hot tea I made Nick, Cody (who also had a long run this morning with some homeschoolers he coaches), Johnie and myself a good breakfast.

Finally! Wednesday February 17th

February 17th...

Finally, after 8 days of no running, Sebastian and I got in 6.4 miles.

Easy run, sunny morning, birds singing, 48 degrees, fresh clean air and a good sweat!

I have been riding my stationary bike but it's just not the same. : )

So thankful and blessed to be able to get outside and run!

Happy 47th Birthday Nick!

30 years ago today Virtreas Godbey, Assistant Principal, announced the Happy Birthday's at Casey County High School.

I remember seeing Nick Ellison in the hall and wishing him a Happy Birthday.

30 years...have come and gone. They've been filled with great joy and great sorrow. They've been filled with babies, children, teenagers, young adults and now a grandbaby will join us.

30 years ago I shyly wished that cute boy, who always had a tan, Happy Birthday. Who knew I would say the next 29 to you also? I pray we get to share many many many more birthdays together. Truth is, only God knew we would marry, raise children, come to know Him and love Him....live our life together. So interwoven together we are one.

Happy Birthday my beloved Nick. I have no words, oh how I wish I could express my deep abiding love for you, but I don't. So I will use the words of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, "I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach".

Thanks not only for working hard for us but for being so much stinking fun and willing to try anything. ACLU. ; )
